REESE'S + NCAA Basketball: The elements shown here were created specifically for Speedway stores. This REESE'S and NCAA program was developed with the c-store shopper in mind, tapping into the craze of custom kicks created by shoe artists who crafted one-of-a-kind shoes for famous athletes and entertainers. The NCAA March Madness logo and basketball graphics were highlighted to remind shoppers to grab some Reese's Cups in time for tipoff.






REESE'S + NCAA Football: Here we teamed up with Wawa’s iconic Hoagie Fest to drive excitement and reward shoppers with a chance to win a $2,200 gift card—plus dozens of $25 gift cards and free REESE’S. The promotion aimed to remind customers to stock up on REESE’S for kickoff and to secure prominent in-store placement on end-caps and primary shippers.




Yep, this was done in 2015, but the idea still holds up. We were really focused on making sure REESE'S was top of mind at tipoff—at a time when candy wasn’t typically considered part of March Madness. Consumers picked 5 REESE'S items each day—if they matched, they won FREE REESE'S! There were also plenty of recipes and user-generated content on the website to amplify our game plan. With this program, we gained incremental product space—and our clients cheered the lift in sales.
